Sandra "Sandy" Ann Siewert, age 75 of New London, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at St. Joseph Residence in New London. Sandy was born on July 29, 1949 in Appleton to the late Floyd and Althea (Spreeman) Peters. She married Michael Siewert on April 4, 1981. Sandy loved crocheting, reading and knitting. Being a wonderful homemaker, she always canned the garden harvest and was a great cook. Sandy worked as a voting poll worker at the Maple Creek Town Hall.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Michael Siewert; son, Daniel (Elizabeth) Siewert; grandchildren, Tabitha Siewert, Violet Siewert, Henry Siewert and Zach (Heather) Mashburn; great grandson, James Mashburn; sister-in-law, Kay Peters and in-laws, Anne Siewert, Linda Siewert, Kathleen Siewert, Timothy Siewert, Evelyn Siewert, Lorena Siewert, Ramona Siewert, Richard Siewert, Sheila Siewert, Wendy Siewert and Patti Siewert.
In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Erwin and Arline Siewert; her brother, Ronald Peters and brother-in-law, Charles Siewert.
The Funeral Mass for Sandy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London with Fr. Dave Hoffman officiating. The visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
The family wished to thank Fr. Dave Hoffman for the visits and the staff at St. Joseph Residence.
