Scott's Funeral Service Video

Scott Dean Gorges, age 57 of New London, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023 at ThedaCare, due to health issues.  He was born on May 13, 1965 in New London to Roland and Patricia (Schultz) Gorges.  Scott married his high school sweetheart, Michele Heise on September 8, 1990 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London.  He was an avid sports fan- the Packers, Brewers and Badgers were among his favorite teams.  Scott's children and family meant everything to him!  His biggest enjoyment was watching his children play sports and always took such pride and honor in coaching them.  Scott also loved camping and hunting with his brothers, and his son, Hunter.  As a business owner, Scott operated S & M Distributing for the past thirteen years, delivering bread to local stores.

Scott is survived by his wife, Michele; their daughters, Emily and Morgan; son, Hunter (significant other, Izzie Mergen) Gorges; his mother, Patricia; his brothers, Bryon Gorges, Bob Gorges, Bill (Carrie) Gorges, Jerry (Barb) Gorges, Bart (significant other, Leah Falk) Gorges and Gene (Lori) Gorges; mother and father-in-law, Sallie and Walter Heise and in-laws, Kevin Heise, Connie (Randy) McKeever, Chris (Douglas) Dey and Jon (Terri) Heise. Scott is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Roland and Godmother, Jean Luebke, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The Memorial Service for Scott will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London with Rev. William Heiges officiating.  The visitation will be at the church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
