Sharon Gottschalk, age 66 of Watertown, WI passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025. She was born on June 22, 1957 in Bloomington, IL to the late Walter Harold and Gladys Nadine (Smith) Gottschalk. During her younger years Sharon grew up with her two brothers, Paul and Daniel, on the family farm in Anchor, IL. Sharon was a graduate of Octavia High School in Colfax, IL. She also earned her Associates Degree of Science in Respiratory Therapy and a Degree as a Physician's Assistant. As a Respiratory Therapist and Physician Assistant at various medical offices, clinics, and emergency rooms Sharon's career brought her to many different areas, including where she was currently working in the New London area. Friends and family of Sharon know the special kind of person she was. She dedicated her life to helping others, first as a compassionate Respiratory Therapist and later as a skilled Physician's Assistant. Her dedication for her patients was evident in every interaction, always going above and beyond to make a difference in their lives. Her work in the medical field touched countless hearts, and her legacy of kindness and commitment will live on in the lives she helped to heal. Beyond her professional life, Sharon was a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers and found joy in every game. Sharon was known for her infectious sense of humor. A lover of good jokes, she could always be counted on for a laugh and to brighten any room. Her wit, warmth, and laughter were a true gift to everyone who knew her. She was always there to listen and to lend a helping hand. It was a true blessing to have Sharon in our lives and she will be deeply missed.
Sharon is survived by her brother, Paul, along with several other cousins, their families, and numerous friends.
Preceding Sharon in death were her parents, Walter and Gladys, and her brother, Daniel.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to a charity of your choice.
