Sheri Gose's Funeral Service Video

Sheri Ann Gose  (April 23rd, 1957 - December 23rd, 2023)

Sheri Ann Gose, age 66 of the city of New London, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, WI.

Sheri was born on April 23rd, 1957 to Richard and Betty (Schoenrock) Blank in New London, WI. Sheri graduated from New London High School, class of 1975.

Sheri spent her childhood living in Michigan City, IN, before later moving back to her hometown, where she worked at several places such as Denny's and its iterations, and Demming-Noel Insurance. Sheri is most known in the area for working at State Farm as an insurance agent for 19 years. Sheri was someone who everyone looked forward to talking to and always brightened people's days. She was a hard and diligent worker who would always go above and beyond for the sake of her clients.

It was in 1980 when she went to see the new band her brother-in-law had just joined where she met the love of her life Jim Gose. It was love at first sight, and they went on to spend the next 41 years together married as a happy and loving family. Sheri and Jim together had two daughters, Kara and Kristi, and later adopted her grandchild Taren.

She loved spending time with her family and her cats, and would do anything to help support them and show her love. She also loved having family gatherings and playing a variety of games with them. Sheri was a big fan of the TV show "Little House on the Prairie", and one of her happiest moments was traveling to Pepin, WI and visiting the recreation of Laura Ingalls' house along with the Laura Ingalls Museum with her family.

Sheri is survived by her mother Betty, her husband Jim; her children Kristi and Taren Gose (Grandchild). Siblings Sheila (Bruce) Lee, and Steve Blank; sisters and brothers-in-law Sue (Greg) Hewitt, Roy Gose, Gary Gose, Tim Gose, and Mary Gose. Nieces and nephews Greg (Dasha) Hewitt, Michelle (Ron) Chipman, Eric (Victoria) Lee, Adam (Amy) Lee, and Stephanie (Jeff) Londre, and many, many friends and loved ones.

Sheri was preceded in death by her daughter Kara Gose, mother-in-law and father-in-law Jeanette and Raymond Gose, father Richard Blank, and brothers-in-law Joe Gose and Larry Gose.

The Funeral Service for Sheri will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at New London United Methodist Church with Rev. Joyce Rich officiating.  The visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London and again on Wednesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery, New London.
