Sherry Crain's Memorial Mass Video

Sherry May Crain, age 71 of New London, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at her home.  Sherry was born on May 21, 1952 to Eldor and Ilene (Tech) Volz.  She married Jim Crain on November 16, 1974 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Lebanon.  Sherry worked for Accurate Appraisal for over 15 years.  Sherry enjoyed golf and bowling- she belonged to many bowling leagues over the years.  She loved to travel and many times it involved sports and her kids.  Sherry was proud that she swam in two oceans and saw a whole bunch in between. Her two favorite trips were to The Masters and Hawaii.  Sherry loved her grandkids more than anything!

Sherry is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Jesse (Elizabeth), Joe (Brittany) and Andy (Kansas) Crain.  Grandchildren, Finn, Olivia and Clayton Crain; her siblings, Allan (Judy) Volz and Emily (Gordon) Schirpke; sister-in-laws, Carol and Kathy Volz and in-laws, Mary (Arnie) Nienhaus, Betty (Paul) Steingraber, Dave (Chris) Crain, Tom (Dawn) Crain, Barb (Jim) St. Marie, Jean (Brian) Palmer and Jerry (Kevin) Crain.  She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents; her mother and father in-law, Marie and Don Crain and brothers, Dennis and Russel Volz.

The Memorial Mass for Sherry will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Lebanon.  The visitation will take place on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London and again at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the mass.
