Shirley Ann Ross, 83, of Shiocton, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Sunday, October 25, 2026. She was born on March 28, 1943 to the late Willard and Norma (Forbeck) Bergholz. On April 12, 1964 she married Robert J. Ross in Appleton. Together they shared 10 children.

In her free time she loved to garden and tend to her flowers. At the end of the season she would spend her time canning the vegetables she grew. She had a heart full of love for her grandchildren. Shirley cherished moments of shared laughter with family and friends; and she loved to take walks with her neighbors.
She is survived in death by her children: Edward Ross, Mark (Sommer) Ross, Dale (special friend Faith) Ross, Ronald (Shelbi) Ross, Timothy Ross, Tammy (Chad) Schneider, Brian (special friend Jessie) Ross, and Scott (Chelsie) Ross; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; her sister: Barbara Beyer; sister in-law: Yvonne (David) Sternhagen; her dear friends Jack and Sandi Goodman; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Proceeding her in death is her husband Robert; sons: Larry and Randy Ross; parents: Willard and Norma; and her in-laws: Edward and Jessie Ross.
A visitation will take place Friday, November 6, 2026 at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Shiocton, Wisconsin from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Following a short prayer, burial will take place at Bovina Cemetery.
