Steven's Funeral Service Video

Steven A. Cumber, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Appleton, Wisconsin, with his loving wife, Christine by his side. Steven was born in Appleton on June 4, 1951 to Frank and Dorothy (Deltour) Cumber. He served two years over seas in the U.S Army and received several medals before being discharged in 1972. Steven married Christine Jorgensen in Oshkosh on November 9, 2010.

Steven worked at the Neenah Foundry for many years, making cast iron molds. In his free time, he enjoyed a lazy Sunday afternoon watching his favorite teams, the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. He had lots of friends at Courtyard Apartments and he liked visiting with them and his family. He was a jokester and he enjoyed grilling out and spending time with his grandkids, and all his little nephews and nieces, sisters and brothers, and he loved them all very much.

Visitation and Military Honors will take place on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Military Honors will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, at a later date.
