Thomas Bonikowske's Funeral Service Video

Thomas Ray Bonikowske, age 87, of Manawa, WI, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at St. Joseph Residence in New London, WI. Tom was born in the Township of Bear Creek on March 25, 1936, to the late Ray and Thelma (Odegard) Bonikowske. He was raised by his grandparents, Louis and Harriet Bonikowske. He married Joan (Johnson) on August 18, 1956 in Sugar Bush and they celebrated over 66 years of marriage. Tom and Joan lived and farmed in the Bear Creek area for most of his life and finished his working years at Service Motor in Dale.

Tom loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and watching his grandchildren's activities. He was very active in church and community activities.

Tom is survived by his wife, Joan and their children, Scott (Jodie) Bonikowske and their children, Alexandria (special friend, Jesse), Aaron and Justin (special friend, Maddie); Tracy (Dennis) O'Brien and their children, Ashley (Spencer), Austin (fiancé, Ashley) and Alison; Paul (Jenny) Bonikowske and their children, Megan and Rachel. Tom is further survived by his sister, Julie (Bill) Cotton.

Tom was preceded in death by siblings, Joan, Dana and Holly.

The funeral service for Tom will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Bear Creek, on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 11:00am with Rev. Aric Fenske officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00am until time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
