Thomas "Tom" W. Verbrick, Jr., age 69, of Appleton passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2022.

Tom was born on June 5, 1953, the third of four children, to Thomas W, Sr. and Mildred (nee Schuerer) Verbrick in Neenah, Wisconsin. Despite early childhood polio, Tom went on to participate in track and field and basketball at St. Mary's Schools in Menasha, which he attended from kindergarten through high school graduation. A lifelong resident of the Fox Valley, he worked many jobs and retired from Great Northern Container of Appleton in 2014. Tom was an avid reader and enjoyed watching sporting events.

Tom married Connie Stiebs on September 24, 1994 and together they made a life in Appleton. A quiet, private man, with an infectious smile he will be missed by those who survived him: his wife, Connie; siblings: Barbara (David) Swain, and Jeanne Verbrick. Also surviving are brother-in-law Dale (Laura) Stiebs; sisters-in-law: Sandra (Terry) Magolski, Jeannie (Ron) Werth, Dianne (Jeff) Rodgers, Shiela (Gary) Feaval, and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Millie Verbrick, brother, John Verbrick, and nephew, Michael Swain, in-laws Janet and Leonard Stiebs and sister-in-law, Darlene Stiebs.

Per Tom's wishes there will be no visitation, or funeral. Private interment will be in New London, Wisconsin.
