Todd John Phillips
1/5/1962 - 11/22/23
As his family gathers to contemplate the life and death of Todd Phillips, all sorts of names came to mind to describe him. He was a son, a husband, a father and a grandfather. Todd is survived by his wife Joan Phillips, and son Jordan Phillips, as well as his former wife Theresa Loughrin, and their children Brian (Samantha) Phillips, Amanda McDonald, Jasmine Holthausen. Todd was born the eldest child to Mary Ann Pickleheimer and John Phillips, and raised by many, including but not limited to Sherry Phillips (wife of John), and Marlene and Joe Phillips. Todd was the eldest of seven siblings including Troy (Lynn) Phillips, Ty (Jolie) Phillips, Amy (Leone) Phillips, Tiffany Killips, Tammy (Brian) Zuelke, Mike (Teresa) Phillips, John (Jen) Phillips, and Dawn (Brad) Knapp. He was loved by his six grandchildren Madison and Tanner Phillips, Quintin and Natally McDonald, Nolan and Penelope Holthausen.
Todd was the life of the party, the last to show up and the last to leave. Notoriously late to everything, a trait he learned from his mother. You never felt left out when in Todd's presence, he would hand you a drink and hold you until you cried, which is a trait that all his children have inherited. Todd would tell you that the "30 point buck" song was a ballad of his great accomplishments as a world class hunter. The only time you would find him on time was on the river, fishing all his favorite spots that have been passed down to his son and grandson. Todd was published in the paper regularly, not for his genius ideas but for his bowling score from Wednesday evenings with his best friends. Todd would give you the shirt off his back, the last dollar from his wallet, knowing that as long as others were taken care of, he was taken care of. He will be missed and forever loved by all. "Oh my Todd" until we meet again.
