Vernon Lloyd Ward, age 72, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, unexpectedly at his residence.  Vernon was born on February 2, 1949, in California son of Vernon and Yvonne Ward.  On December 7, 1995, he was united in marriage to Miriam Brodhagen.

Vernon enjoyed sports, fishing, hunting, and reading books.  He formerly worked at Hillshire (Tyson), New London.

He is survived by his wife Miriam; several siblings, other relatives, and friends.

His parents preceded him in death.

Per Vernon's wishes, there will be no funeral ceremony held.
