Virginia R. Sell, age 87 of New London passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at St. Joseph Residence in New London.  Virginia was born on April 17, 1938 in Embarrass, WI to the late Edward and Martha (Conradt) Breed.  She married Donald Sell on October 20, 1956 in Embarrass.  He preceded her in death in 2000.  Virginia was dedicated to her family and grandchildren.  She worked as a CNA at Behling Home in Clintonville for 24 years.  Virginia loved reading, writing poems, crafting, going to rummage sales and going up north fishing on Pickeral Lake.

Virginia is survived by her children, Joe (Tammy) Sell, Jerelyn (Dan) Ruppel and Patty (Kirk) Zimerman; grandchildren, Jamie (Jeni) Sell, Jessie (Kelly) Sell, Lacy (Adam) Raisler, Bradley (Erin) Sell, Brian (Taylor) Sell, Ken (Tara) Ruppel, Kalah (James) Thomas, Scott Ruppel, Derek (Amanda) Ruppel, Amanda (Jake) Lowe and Andy( fiancé, Sky) Zimmerman; daughter-in-law, Laurie Sell; numerous great-grandchildren and siblings, David (Kathy) Breed and Mavis Anderson.

In addition to her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by a son, James; brothers, Eddie, John and Roger and a great-grandchild, Evan.

A Graveside Service for Virginia will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Greenleaf Cemetery in Marion with Pastor Clifford Kessen officiating.

A Celebration of Virginia's Life will be held a Hilby's in New London on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. All are welcome!
