William "Bill" R. Klatt, 65, of New London, Wisconsin, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Bill was born on March 8, 1959, in New London to the late Robert W. Klatt and Marlene (Schoenrock) Graff, the third of five children.

Bill married Crystal Thompson on August 3, 1984 in New London, his wife of 40 years.

Bill loved hunting and fishing and being outdoors and the memories he shared about those experiences. He was what some people would call a straight-shooter, not just with fire arms, but he called things as he saw them, without fear. As tough as he was, he also had a soft spot for stray cats and dogs, and living near the railroad tracks, there were a lot of them over the years.

Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years, Crystal; his children, Richard (Kira), Jennifer (Pasquale) and Robert; five grandchildren, Kylie Klatt, Gage Piekarczyk, Nova Piekarczyk, Eleora Klatt, and Hayden Weed; his mother, Marlene; siblings, Pam (Ray) Smith, Rob Klatt, Lisa (Marshall) Larson, Sandy (Bill) Postel, and Corey (Michelle) Graff. He is further survived by his nephews, James Stilen, Christopher Larson, Billy Postel, and Brandon Postel; and his niece, Aria Graff.

Bill was preceded in death by his niece, Karissa and his father, Robert W. Klatt. He was a husband, a brother, a son, a nephew and a friend, and he will be missed dearly.
