Age 65, New London died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 10, 2013. Tom was born on April 6, 1947, in New London, son of Victor and Doris (Werner) Frye. He graduated from New London High School in 1965. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. On September 1, 1972, he was united in marriage to Sharon Tank. Tom worked as a millwright for various paper mills until his retirement in 2003. He loved to fish, hunt, read and tie flies. He is survived by his wife Sharon; his mother, Doris, Shawano; two sisters, Anne Zamora, San Diego, CA; Jane Frye, Shawano; mother-in-law, Doris Tank, Waupaca; sister and brother in-laws, Sue (Neil) Stedman, Waupaca; Audrey (Cliff) Hohn, Black Creek; Barbara Baehman, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and David Tank, King. Tom is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Victor, nephew Scott, infant sister, Mary Ellen, father-in-law Vernon Tank and brother-in-law Jerome Baehman. Funeral services for Tom will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
