Kent L. Rusch

Licensed Funeral Director

President and owner of Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, Kent has been a funeral director since 1983. Kent is a member and past president of both the Fox Valley Funeral Directors Association and the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association. He is active in the community and a member of the Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, Community Development Corp., New London Family Medical Center Foundation, Knights of Columbus, and Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Kent and his wife Kathy, have one son, Logan.

Dave Rusch

Licensed Funeral Director

Dave has been a Funeral Director since 1957 at Cline Hanson Funeral Home. Dave is active in many New London Community events. He is a member and past president of New London Lion's Club, a member, past president and director of New London Chamber of Commence, a member, past president and director of Wisconsin & Fox Valley Funeral Director Association, a member and past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus. Dave is also a past director at Selected Independent Funeral Homes, a past director of First State Bank, New London, and a past president and board member of St. Joseph Residence in New London. Dave has two sons and two daughters. They are members of the Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London.

Logan Rusch

Licensed Funeral Director

Logan became a licensed funeral director in 2022. Prior to becoming licensed, he spent his childhood learning how to compassionately care for families from both his father and grandfather. After graduating from New London High School in 2012, he continued his academic career at The University of Wisconsin - Madison, earning a degree in Community and Nonprofit Leadership and a certificate in Digital Studies. Following graduation he returned home to New London and began working at the family funeral home. Upon realizing that funeral service was his calling, he completed an apprenticeship at Max A. Sass and Sons Funeral Home in Milwaukee, while earning a degree in Mortuary Science from Milwaukee Area Technical College. Currently, Logan organizes and operates our annual donation drive for both the Waupaca County and Fox Valley Humane Associations, if you wish to donate the drive runs throughout the month of August.

Kevin Dembinski

Funeral Director

Kevin was born and raised in Kewaunee, WI where he graduated High School in 2002. Next, Kevin attended Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, WI where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, Spirituality, and Ministry in 2006. The journey of education continued while Kevin attended Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL to complete the Masters of Divinity Degree in 2009, which led Kevin to fulfill his lifelong dream of being ordained as a United Methodist minister in 2011. Kevin has served many United Methodist congregations of North East/South East Wisconsin from the years 2005 until 2021. Kevin began preaching at age 16 and began official ministry at age 21.

Kevin’s passion for education led him down a new path in 2020 when he entered the Mortuary Science program at Worsham College of Mortuary Science and graduated in 2021. After graduation, Kevin took a Funeral Director position at Cline & Hanson and Borchardt & Moder Funeral Homes with hopes of serving the New London, Hortonville, and Shiocton communities. Kevin received his Funeral Director’s License in 2022.

Other passions of Kevin’s are part time pastoral leadership at surrounding congregations on Sunday mornings, reading a variety of books, pets and helping comfort those who have lost a pet, guiding individuals and groups in grief counseling, building relationships, drinking lots of coffee, eating many deserts, and wearing cool and radical socks!

Jennifer Longsine

Office Manager

Jennifer graduated from Winneconne High School in 1989 and went on to work in the textile manufacturing industry for many years before earning an associate degree in Management Development from Fox Valley Technical College.

Jennifer joined our staff in February of 2023 as the office assistant and most recently took on the role of office manager. She also works part time as an office assistant for The Waters Supperclub & Lounge.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her fiancé, children and grandchildren. She also enjoys woodworking, hunting, and spending time with her pets and extended family.

Lisa Brennan

Advanced Funeral Planner

Lisa Brennan is a resident of Winneconne, WI. She was employed at her family owned and operated floral shop and greenhouse for 30 years. The event planning aspect of the business groomed her for her next profession as an Advanced Funeral Planner. She truly enjoyed helping families at what can be a very difficult time. Lisa has two children and three amazing grandchildren which she adores.

In her spare time Lisa enjoys traveling, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.

Krystal Peterson

Funeral Director Apprentice

Krystal is a Funeral Director Apprentice, currently attending school in a shared program with Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton and Milwaukee Area Technical College. After completing a one year apprenticeship position in Milwaukee at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home, she returned home to New London to finish her apprenticeship and schooling. She is learning all aspects of funeral directing, planning, and the mortuary side of things.

Krystal grew up both in New London and in the Fox Valley area, graduating from Little Chute High School in 2016. In her free time she likes to attend various classic car shows and festivals, competing in vintage 1930's - 1960's styled pageants, concerts, antiquing and thrifting, and spending time with her fur babies, her dog Moose and cat Sassafras.

Comfort Dog

Aspen is a Golden Retriever who is currently in the process of being trained to become a Comfort Dog. She has been "on the job" training with a select number of families who have requested her services, and she has enjoyed her work. Aspen enjoys treats, walks, and attention, and would love to meet any family that wishes to utilize her unique services as a Comfort Dog.
